Basketball legend LeBron James has responded to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s criticism of his political activism by insisting he will never stop fighting racism. Recall that Ibrahimovic suggested to LeBron, to leave politics and focus on what he knows how to do best, play basketball.
After the NBA game between the Lakers and Portland ended, James said he would never stop at what he believes. Knowing that his voice is heard, because he is famous, he also added that he will fight for justice, racial equality, the right to vote, things that commonly happen in daily life.
“I have been a member of the community where I live and I know very well what over 300 children suffer at school. I am their voice and will continue with my platform so that things can be fixed not only in the area where I live, but all over the world “- said James.
The 36-year-old also stated that he is surprised by Zlatan’s words, as the latter had denounced the racism against him in Sweden, due to his surname.
“He is a person who was talking about racism in Sweden, because his last name was not like traditional Swedish last names. “I am the wrong person to address that way, as I do my job very well,” he told the media.
